Years Of Existence

More Than Buildings - a foundation for Success

Without safe housing, education becomes harder. Girls lose focus, confidence, and sometimes even drop out. Their dreams are bigger than their circumstances, but the current hostels hold them back.

Overcrowded dormitories, inadequate sanitation, and limited study spaces place daily obstacles in front of students who are striving to succeed. Without intervention, these conditions risk undoing the academic progress they work so hard for.

The Project

The Girls’ Hostel Development Project is more than new buildings — it’s about giving Rusangu’s young women a safe place to grow, study, and thrive. Designed to accommodate over 200 students, the hostels will provide proper sanitation, secure sleeping quarters, and dedicated study spaces. Each feature is an investment in dignity, safety, and success.
